Working as a International Field Security Officer with United Nations-World Food Program, with overall 20 years of experience within the UN security management system. My primary responsibilities include the provision of mentorship, support, and technical expertise towards operations, staff, and premises to ensure and enable business continuity/program delivery in a safe/secure manner within the assigned geographical area that ranges from low to high risk. With intense exposure to field-related operations, I have also been assigned (representing UNDSS) to a flood relief mission in Pakistan to support UN agencies and develop coordination with the Government authorities, security forces, disaster management authorities as well as local communities to ensure secure accessibility and delivery of UN programs/interventions in the region. My technical expertise contains security risk assessments, security planning, risk evaluations, contingency planning, premises security management, mission planning, and the design/delivery of personal security awareness training for staff and cooperating partners.
