I am currently a research associate at Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM) working on the integration of AI in a Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) system for early detection of damages. Before my current role, I was a PhD student at BAM and worked in the field of solid mechanics. I developed a new material model to accurately capture the deformation behavior of additively manufactured metallic parts for large plastic strains. I am constantly looking for new challenges and opportunities.
