Covid-19 RTI Alternate Care Facility USVI April 2020 – May 2020U.S Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)• Survey the site and collaborate in multi-discipline project teams to develop drawing and specification documents for issuance to architects, contractors and clients.• Attend client meetings, understand project vision and goals, and execute.• Coordinate electrical system design with architects and other consultants such as power distribution, stand-by power generation, lighting, communication and security systems.• Engineering calculations, equipment sizing and selection for low, medium and high voltage systems.• Analysis of equipment energy use for optimizing systems selection.• Define customer needs and requirements.• Generally responsible for implementations and monitoring of all electrical related work at the site.• Cable size calculation cable scheduling & its route selection, overhead and undergound.• Estimates prepare and assign the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools required for all electrical and related works prior to execution.• Plans and analysis all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to the Project manager for approval prior to execution at site.• Manages directly and provide engineering and technical support to all the electrical work groups at site.• Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.• Oversee submittals process for all electrical shop drawings, material submittals, testing procedures and test reports.
