1- Evaluate and interview patients to determine their needs. *Examine, interview, and measure patients to determine their appliance needs and to identify factors that could affect appliance fit. *Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals. *Examine patients to assess general physical condition. *Measure the physical or physiological attributes of patients2- Fit, test, and evaluate devices on patients, and make adjustments for proper fit, function, and comfort.3- Resolving Conflicts and Negotiating with Others : Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.4- Design orthopedic and prosthetic devices .5- Take a mold of the part of a patient’s body that will be fitted with a brace or artificial limb6- Select materials to be used for the orthotic or prosthetic device7- Fit, test, and adjust devices on patients8- Instruct patients in how to use and care for their devices, follow up with them.9- Repair or update prosthetic and orthotic devices10- clinical and technical evaluate patients’ situations and often look for creative solutions to their Pr-fitting and post fitting rehabilitation needs. 11- Document care in patients' records12- co-ordinate with the staff of other professionals to meet with all patient needs.13-Participating in development planning, scheduling, and resource acquisition.14- Show and explain orthopedic and prosthetic appliances to healthcare workers;Train medical providers.

1-Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction and enhance physical and functional abilities.2-Restore, maintain, and promote not only optimal physical function but optimal wellness and fitness. 3- Prevent the onset, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that may result from diseases, disorders, conditions, or injuries4- Plan, prepare and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients.5- Obtain patients' informed consent to proposed interventions.6- Discharge patient from physical therapy when goals or projected outcomes have been attained and provide for appropriate follow-up care or referrals.7- Identify and document goals, anticipated progress and plans for reevaluation.8- Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices.9- inpatient rehabilitation , spinal cord injury and stroke rehabilitation.10-prescribe underwater exercise plan for the Hydrotherapy unit .11-Teach physical therapy students as well as those in other health professions.
