Mr. Penn earned his law degree from Northwestern University School of Law, where he was a member of the Northwestern University Law Review. Mr. Penn's technical background is in electrical engineering, including a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Cincinnati and a Master's Degree from Stanford University in the field of semiconductor devices and processing. Mr. Penn has 24 years of experience procuring IP rights in a wide range of industries including Internet/e-commerce/business method inventions, memory devices, computer systems and peripherals, semiconductor devices, consumer electronics, and security systems. Mr. Penn is responsible for development of patent portfolios including preparation, prosecution and supervision of patent applications from filing to issuance.
