I perform on stilts for a wide range of events; I have a very large costume closet and I've been passionate about stilting since 2010. I really love to entertain in character, three metres high (with a big hat)! I also do giant bubble shows, outdoors, since 2021; making soap bubbles giant and small at festivals, parties, and destination locations is the best gig ever.

In collaboration with the Creative Director, Production Team and various community stakeholders I negotiated, hired, contracted, scheduled and facilitated on site for all performers at the Steveston Salmon Festival July 1, and Richmond Maritime Festival Aug 24 & 25, 2024.

AT GNW Scene Shop I coordinated & managed the Paint Department, as well as paint & sculpt for a wide range of projects; I worked as a painter/sculptor on a casual/on call basis from 2018 - 2020 and then I became the Head Painter! At GNW Scene Shop we do sets, displays, props, and many strange things for theatre, film, museum & gallery exhibits, events, public art, murals.... a broad range of projects which I felt privileged to work on.

I work as a site manager for VMF, coordinating and preparing for the production side of making murals. That means I assess & manage site needs and hazards, paint walls, fix things, move stuff around, put signage up & down, clean up, organize, and much more.

Since 2013 I have been working closely with Carbon Neutral Commons' founder Ted Redelmeier to support in the development and sharing of his ideas about a mechanism to create a market for sequestering carbon. These ideas also involve technology development for gasifying agricultural residues to harvest an untapped energy source, rice husk, and scientific development around the use of char as biochar to enhance soil health and sequester carbon from the short term carbon cycle. In 2014 I joined the Caravan Stage Company on their 90' tall ship named Amara Zee, for their production of a new experimental opera called "Hacked: The Treasure of the Empire". I did a lot of different things during that time, from travelling as a crew member on the ship, to finding a workshop and materials for set building as well as other crew members, to building giant mask/puppets with moving mouths and eyes. When I lived in Toronto Holt Renfrew's Visual Department called on me as a freelancer when they needed support with custom props, painting, and installation. At Toronto's flagship location I was proud to help create the ever-changing window & interior displays. I did a good deal of painting props and murals, as well as assembling and creating props, applying & peeling vinyl, decorating spaces, and various other tasks involved in temporary decorative installations.

Spiral Garden is a unique summer day camp for kids with and without disabilities. Kids there spend their days playing in whatever manner they choose, with the supervision of a large team of artists and healthcare workers. I had the privilege of animating the puppetry station for the summer of 2013, helping kids play with old puppets, create puppets of their own, and co-create a giant puppet as part of the great narrative of that summer.

In 2012 I launched an outdoor theatre company with Matthew Krist. We created a circus, puppetry, mask, and musical adaptation of the 1904 comic series, "Little Nemo in Slumberland" by Winsor McCay. It was staged at the Lagoon Theatre on Centre Island, in the summers of 2012 and 2013, and continued without my involvement in 2014. Please see www.frolick.ca for more info.

I worked under Lokki Ma as Props Assistant for "Blue Planet", the company's last show of the year. I got to make a periscoping eyeball puppet, like an upside-down marionette! That, and many other things used in the show. It was a privilege and great fun to make props at YPT.

In 2011 I am producing, directing, and doing many related tasks as part of a 10-month internship at Clay & Paper Theatre, generously funded by the Metcalf Foundation. We are doing a big summer show from July 15 - August 14 called The Pedaler's Wager, the annual Day of Delight June 19 and the Night of Dread, and many workshops to support these productions.

I was responsible for realizing the costume designs for the Sudbury Theatre Centre's mainstage productions, as well as designing costume for a few of them during the 2008/2009 season.
