Amirah is a well-rounded graduate of Mechanical Engineering Technology (Petroleum) with Hons. from Universiti Malaysia Pahang. She is a fast learner and able to work independently as well as in teams. She is also eager to learn and grow professionally with a strong determination to excel in any area pursued. Besides that, Amirah's Final Year Project titled "Development of A Hybrid Technique of Solvent Extraction and Freeze Thaw for Oil Recovery from Petroleum Sludge using Dichloromethane (DCM)" has won two silver medals. The purpose of conducting this research is to investigate the efficiency of a hybrid solvent extraction and freeze thaw technique and to investigate the efficacy of DCM for oil recovery from oily sludge. She also managed to publish a paper recently, "A Review of Crude Oil Extraction Methods from Petroleum Sludge".She always tries to work above and beyond the assigned tasks and put consistent effort in all her area of work. She participates in many sports events, student groups, and programs throughout her studies. She always creates opportunities to challenge herself by working in a fast-paced environment that allow her to add value and grow. Outside of work, Amirah loves hiking, reading books, and outdoor activities. She enjoys meeting new people that she can share opinions and perspectives with.
