I am a highly motivated and skilled researcher with 4 strong years’ experience in the polymeric membrane, renewable energy and wastewater treatment using membrane technology, separation and filtration processes. Amidst challenging research work I encountered during those years, I developed hands-on skill with various research instruments such as; SEM, FTIR, AFM, Zeta Potential Analysis, Dead End Filtration Unit (Reverse Osmosis, Microfiltration, Ultrafiltration & Nanofiltration) and Forward Osmosis/Pressure Retarded Osmosis Unit. I have enjoyed managing and leading projects together with mentoring undergraduate students for the past 4 years. I always believe great science relies on collaboration and communication skills. Collaboration; In 2019, I seized the opportunity to have a cross-functional collaborator with a group of researchers from Kaohsiung, Taiwan. I worked there for 6 months and we successfully produced a high-quality Graphene Oxide within 3 months resulting in a peer-reviewed publication. Science communicator; In 2021, I am a winner of the 3 Minutes Thesis competition at my University level and a semi-finalist at the National Level for the engineering category. Being able to convey the research works to a non-science/technical audience means they are less likely to misinterpret science and believe in pseudoscience claims.In addition to my skills as a researcher, I also have 2 strong years’ in Oil & Gas industry as a Safety Production personnel. I was recognized by both superior and peers for demonstrated ability to learn, adapt quickly, and be receptive to new ideas. I have been sent to various technical training and been trusted to deliver the in-house training for operators, shift personnel and the management team. I have completed several impactful projects and tasks within stipulated time such as the transition from Honeywell’s Operations Management Professional (OMPro) to AIS Universal Tag Locator (UTL) for the alarm management in the operation control room and successfully installed and configured the Honeywell’s DynAMo and implemented the IntelaTrac 4.2 and managed to go live on the target date.I am eager want to apply my skills to help solve business problems and have measurable impacts within a company. I am driven by intellectual challenges, teamwork and learning opportunities.
