I am a senior at Florida Atlantic University majoring in Geosciences with a concentration in Geology. My passion for understanding the Earth stems from a lifelong curiosity about the natural world, nurtured by my upbringing in South Florida. I aspire to become a hydrogeologist, where I will work both in the lab and in the field, collecting and analyzing sediment and stratigraphy from beneath the surface.During my time at FAU, I've had the privilege of taking courses that have provided me with essential knowledge and skills, including sieving rock samples, utilizing petrographic microscopes to identify minerals, and employing Geographic Information Systems (GIS).I have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.675, demonstrating my commitment to academic excellence. In addition to my studies, I serve as a group fitness instructor at FAU Campus Recreation, where I hone my time management, leadership, and communication skills.Looking ahead, I plan to graduate in Summer 2025 and pursue a career as a hydrogeologist, with the goal of contributing to a cleaner water supply and a sustainable future.
