Amir Darabi, Operations Manager at The Good Egg. My NEW venture.My background includes being the Managing Director and founder of ShakeTastic. Here I grew the company to 16 stores over 9 years allowing it to reach its peak and prove a franchise-able model. These included company owned sites, a UK franchise, international franchises and mobile units. At this point I decided to venture into the wider industry of food and drink to take on a more challenging growth project. With a background in Restaurant Operations, Brand Management and Training, Amir's experience and knowledge of the market as well as creating a blueprint to operate within, proved vital in the growth and consistency of the ShakeTastic brand. His degree in BA Economics For Business is perfectly suited to running and operating any successful and profitable business. His career experience lends very well also to managing multi site, global and franchise-able operations. Amir strives for excellence within Operating Standards, Customer Service and Man Management and instils the same in all that work alongside him. His passion for this has grown through a vast history within the industry. His career with Pizza Express started in 1995 and in 2004 was nominated employee of the year. After managing flagship stores and "Centres of Excellence" for the Pizza Express brand, his talents were spotted by the Owners of GBK and Tootsies (Clapham House Group). He was recruited in 2006 to open their flagship store in Brent Cross Shopping Centre. His talents soon lead him to helping the Training Department creating systems, staff handbooks, training packages and operating handbooks for franchise stores as well as company owned ones. In 2008 Amir's experience was vital in being given a multi site management role with up to 8 Tootsies & Dexter's stores being under his management at one rime. His love for People, Product & Perfection means that under Amir's operating guidance, ShakeTastic grew to become a worldwide leading destination and aspiration brand.His success now continues with the founders of The Good Egg.
