I am a passionate business leader and expert in finance and accounting who helps in driving companies and everyone involved towards success. I am expert in outlining business strategies, developing related policies and procedures, and shaping up operations, financial planning, and reporting frameworks, to boost overall performance and profitability.I believe in the power of facts, figures, and underlying causes and how they can help in identifying gaps and opportunities so that businesses and economies can advance and improve lives and lifestyles. What really matters for me is to touch people and help them do better and feel better about themselves and the world. In every position I held, I tried to inspire team members and foster their growth be it by encouragement, empowerment, skill development, or coaching. There is nothing more rewarding than pushing people out of their comfort zones and seeing them blossom personally and professionally. Throughout my career, I contributed to the transformation of the organizations I worked for. With several key managerial positions at GAC Group, I lead the upgrade and implementation of next generation systems, which provided intelligent and efficient information for critical decision making and strategizing of the business. When I moved to Alif Investments, I leveraged my previous experience to spearhead the implementation of systems and the development of procedures that allowed smoother and fitter operations. While juggling with all the challenges of living and working in a foreign country, I cruised through the thick and thin of institutionalizing a newly established company and expanding its presence from two to ten locations. The diversified culture I discovered in the UAE helped me grow on both the professional and personal levels.With Concordia Group and Dhofar Global, I am contributing to identifying, assessing, and managing investments and business opportunities around the world. Beyond the facts and figures that a Chief Finance Officer provides, I am enjoying the challenge of establishing business relevance and direction. For me, approaching challenges in business becomes easier when you break them down into smaller chunks and apply everyday life concepts to address them. Using the experiences and teachings of learned persons can help in solving any problem and embracing a more compassionate humanity.
