I was born in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, but I have always been interested in studying, working, and living abroad. As a child, I always enjoyed spending time immersed in narratives through various media. This pastime turned into a passion that I eventually actualized by deciding to study the English language and its literature. I am specifically interested in narratology and narrative analysis. Excluding my education, I have also stepped into the world of game design, specifically narrative design, for a text-based RPG project titled Medieval Discord, a community and game centered around medieval fiction. My love for English and literature, as well as my passion for game design, has led me to become an author who writes short stories, poetry, and novels. Academically, I am interested in researching diasporic narratives and literature that closely resemble my cultural background. I believe nation/region-wide policies need to work closely with NGOs and diasporic communities in order to foster tolerance and progressivism in the modern day.I may be from Bosnia, but all my work, be it technical documentation, translation, community management, game design, or creative writing, has been exclusively in English. As I love learning, so too do I enjoy teaching others. I believe knowledge is a form of wealth that only grows if it is shared, which is why I am pursuing a career in academia/research as well as one in game design and publishing. All of these experiences have taught me teamwork, public speaking, time management, work organization, and planning. These are the fundamentals that I bring to anything I do, professionally or otherwise.
