Overview of Accomplishments• Built three companies from startup to exit, improving the lives of millions of people• Raised over $15M in financing from angels, VCs, and corporate investors• Recruited over 160 employees to develop seven products from concept to commercialization• Led sales and marketing teams to generate over $100M in sales• Unique expertise with AI (computer vision, neural networks) I am a serial entrepreneur with experience developing profitable digital businesses internationally. I am passionate about innovating and implementing scalable solutions that address systemic environmental and social problems.I completed my Bachelor’s with Honors at Wesleyan University and created the first web portal for holistic health, webreathe.com, in NYC. I then completed my Master's in Technology Management from MIT Sloan.At MIT, I patented a "drive-by WiFi” technology for rural connectivity and led its deployment in India as an MIT research project. Based on this research, I spun-out First Mile Solutions (FMS) and led it to profitability, implementing wireless solutions for organizations globally. I then founded United Villages (UV), which later acquired FMS and built rural India's first mobile-enabled supply chain, recognized by Investors' Circle as of one the "Top 20 Most Impactful Companies".UV was divested to Oxigen, India's leading payment solutions platform, with whom I partnered to found Oxigen USA, a one-stop-shop for sending instant payments, gifts, and money. I sold Oxigen USA to PrePay Nation and then led operations and product for Home Outside, a patented 3D AI and AR landscape designer and marketplace.I am grateful for the recognition I've received as an impact entrepreneur from organizations such as MIT Tech Review, Red Herring, and the Aspen Institute. I have enjoyed mentoring impact entrepreneurs at MIT, Harvard, and other organizations since 2012. I teach impact entrepreneurship at Tufts and also run a non-profit that builds inclusive, resilient community in Greater Boston. I love kitesurfing, yoga, dancing, DJ'ing, permaculture, and growing my own food!
