Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Current• Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist of the Nuclear Cardiology Lab.• Responsibilities include the day-to-day operation of the facility.• Attain adequate knowledge of the patient’s medical history and explain the procedure.• Establish IV catheter intravenously and administer Radiopharmaceutical.• Image patients in accordance with internal protocols including rest and stress.• Assist Cardiologists with stress/treadmill portion of the study.• Process and provide all patients imaging and data analysis to the physician.• Implement quality improvement techniques according to the DOH and IAC.• Prepare the required documents for the purpose of attaining lab accreditation.• Procure radiopharmaceutical, supplies and equipment for the lab.• Maintain records and logs for all lab operations.• Assist physicians with Stress Echo studies.
