As a scientist at NASA, I work on the PACE mission and the GeoXO OCX instrument, which will provide high-quality ocean color data for climate studies and environmental monitoring. I have over a decade of experience in ocean color remote sensing, using polarimetric and hyperspectral observations to solve the inverse problem and retrieve ocean optical and microphysical properties.My interest is to develop, document, and validate novel algorithms that use the polarization characteristics of the water-leaving light field at the top of the atmosphere, as well as machine learning and Bayesian inference techniques, to enhance the accuracy and precision of the ocean color products. I have published many papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. I am passionate about advancing the science and technology of ocean color remote sensing and contributing to NASA's vision and goals.
