As an Intern in Nepali Times Weekly and Himal Media Pvt. Ltd., I got involved in all components of publication, from interviewing guests and writing their profiles for BUZZ section to translating editorial and articles from Nepali to English. Some of the appreciated works includes in-depth reporting on the rehabilitation and status of former Maoist combatants was very well appreciated (Issue#664) and a photo was published on the front page (Issue #656). Besides these in a three month period worked closely as a correspondent and a photojournalist for the paper.

Along with a group of enthusiastic team, we were able to form a network of youth students advocating about human rights. I was the Co-founder of Amnesty International Nepal Kathmandu University Youth Network,Dhulikhel, Nepal. We successfully established a human rights forum under the supervision of university’s Student Welfare Directorate of Kathmandu University and Amnesty International Nepal section. Served as a member for two years and actively worked as the Coordinator of the network for 2 years (2011-2013).Having served for almost three years I was appointed and was assigned to work as the regional campaign coordinator from Nepal in ‘My Body My Rights’ Campaign. During which I got opportunity to attend one of the conferences in Philippines.
