As a global director I was leading hardware and mechanical design teams loacted at two sites - in Israel and in North America.The design teams were responsible for designing multi-displinary systems composing of multiple products for a complete security solution.I was responsible for resources allocation and management, including, humman resources, budgets and schedule. I have created working procedures to guide the various design teams through the product development and life cysle.I was the point of contact of the development team with the other R&D teams - software, automated testing and QA as well as all other company units- marketing & slares, engineering & production, customer support and QA.

In my position as R&D Manager I was a member of the company's senior management forum.As a technological leader I defined product line architectures and features to meet market needs and trends and defined solution architectures for customer programs. In parallel to my role as R&D manager I was project manager and was assigned to lead large scale startegic projects for the company.I managed the R&D group comprising hardware, software and design verification departments. I was responsible for setting long and short term goals, allocating resources, setting priorities, managing budgets, assessing cost and schedule, training junior level management, training engineers, recruiting personnel.I developed and implemented work methodologies and procedures, defined hardware-software interfaces, defined design verification and qualification process, generated documentation and transfer to production and customer support.

I managed the hardware development group and was the techincal leader as well as the group manager. As technology leader and techincal authority I was responsible for solution/product architecture definition and implementation.As group manager I was responsible for day to day management and resources allocation, priorities management, etc.

I was part of several chip design teams developing a new generation DSP IC.In my final position I was a member of the inetgration team combining all IC elements and perfroming vigorous testing of the complete IC before tape out.
