This role involved directing often scared and confused patients around the new Manchester hospital complex. I was required to find my way around a large hospital containing a A&E, Paediatric hospital, Manchester Eye Hospital and a mental health unit.I was also involved, later on in my eventful and hugely rewarding time at the hospital, in a new hospital nutritional scheme for the elderly and sick patients, this involved treating the patients with care and being able to empathise with their situation.

I began my role at Pump Textiles at the age of 16, as my father and uncle always instilled in me a good working background.

In this role as a claims advisor I was managing new and existing clients claims.This involved:Taking details from clients either by telephone, face to face and by email.Opening files using Proclaim.Liaising with clients and third party insurers.Liaising with file handlers.Liaising with other parties involved (repairers, hire companies, police, witnesses.Providing updates, explanation of legal documents and advice to existing clients.Completing documents on behalf of clients where necessary. Contacting client for outstanding information/documentation.Office administration (photocopying, scanning, incoming and outgoing post).

My role at this firm was to assist the solicitors in legal preparation work. I was also involved in customer service as well as carrying out extensive research projects for current cases.
