Group Operations DirectorLeo Burnett Jul 2011 - Jul 2014AustraliaIn less than 18 months, my remit expanded to manage the agency's daily operations, including resources across all departments, all internal processes and workflows and business development, based on the operational success of the Integrated Production and Multimedia Craft capabilities. As part of the ExCo, I worked closely with our CEO, CCO, Client Service Director and CFO on business development initiatives through new revenue streams, change management, operational efficiencies and strategic partnerships. In early 2013 Leo Burnett Australia organised its services in six core disciplines: LB Connect (Social & Influence), LB Content (end-2-end content marketing), LB Shop (retail & shopper marketing), LB Studios (integrated production & multimedia craft), LB Innovation (emerging creative tech) and LB Express. At the same time, I was promoted to Group Operations Director to help lead the smooth transition and integration of the newly defined core capabilities to drive excellence and efficiencies, as well as consolidate all current and future client activity under one agency model. -
Head Of Integrated Production & Multimedia CraftLeo Burnett Mar 2010 - Jul 2011AustraliaEstablished and ran all cross-channel creative execution and production capabilities: print, digital, broadcast, content and technology, by introducing cross-functional talent, multi-speed workflows, smarter tools and technologies, all of which were outsourced for 15 years prior to my arrival.Although not without its challenges, the process of building these capabilities and services in-house and blending them into the highly creative culture of Leo Burnett was very smooth and led to exponential growth in both production and craft revenues, and craft awards. Within the first three months, Integrated Production and Multimedia Craft became the most profitable departments in the business and remained that way until my departure in mid-2014. -
