As a co-founder of OSTIF, I manage our development and community outreach initiatives. My focus is on sourcing and managing partnerships. Since inception, the company has grown considerably. A major proof of concept moment occurred in May 2016 when we received funding from an internet search company. Since then, we have graduated from an idea to an established, objective advocate for free and open software. After three years at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, I pursued an opportunity to further develop as a leader and as an entrepreneur. As a result, I purchased a retail medical supply store in Skokie, IL. As President, I managed all aspects of the business. The healthcare and medical industries are overdue for strong leadership and innovation.

Following completion of my MBA, I pursued a career as an Associate Auditor - IT at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. My duties and responsibilities include planning, executing, and reporting audits of internal business functions in the IT space. Namely: testing on controls, analyzing configuration/access data, and interviewing auditees.

While completing my MBA, I started an internship at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. There I was introduced to the art of Internal Audit. As an intern and then contractor, I participated in audits of various internal functions within the FRBC, assisted with data analysis and consolidation for multiple management committees, and actively monitored and assessed IT projects.

My time as the Project Coordinator at DePaul University's Center for Creativity and Innovation was incredible. I could not have had a better experience while completing my MBA in Entrepreneurship and MIS at DePaul. I spearheaded projects and initiatives to foster innovative thinking and entrepreneurship within the University and beyond. Other duties included: regularly updating website (innovation.depaul.edu), creating and managing events held at the University, Grind LaSalle, and TechNexus, and researching contemporary innovative strategies. Developed strategic partnerships, assisted in analytics, marketing, and tracking of mobile app use. Managed ad-hoc project initiatives such as developing a partner program.

As part of my summer internship, I oversaw the development and production of two mobile apps. From ideation to design to development and quality control, I got to play a significant role in the managment of these projects.
