He also held the portfolio of Global Account Manager (GAM) for Islamic Banking Audits for ABN AMRO Bank. He holds an Engineering (B.E) as well as Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Degrees. He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and also has accreditation in Internal Audit Quality Assessments from The Institute of Internal Auditors, USA. He was on the Board of Governors, The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA – Karachi Chapter) and also served as Director, Information Systems Audit & Control Association (ISACA - Pakistan).
