Process Engineer
Current1. Contributed to productivity in Li-Ion electrode manufacturing for 18650 and 21700 models through involvement in calendaring processes. 2. Implemented Design of Experiments (DOE) and optimized machine settings to ensure quality in the calendaring process, achieving targets for Cp/Cpk related to plate thickness, coating length, and effectively controlling defects such as stripes, waves, and foil folding. 3. Updated and maintained process documentation in compliance with IATF standards, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Quality Control Plans (QCP), Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Work Standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). 4. Participated in managing and reporting quality issues, machine performance, real-time monitoring systems, and implementing corresponding countermeasures. 5. Conducted cell dismantling to analyze cell performance, formation cell capacity, cycle life, identified defects occurrence, and performed root cause analysis for safety tests of non-conforming goods (NG). 6. Addressed and verified feedback related to quality issues in the electrode plate process from the winding/assembly side, including J/R diameter, J/R alignment, can insertion, and electrode cracks. Implemented effective countermeasures to ensure product quality.
