My name is Muhammad Amirul Hilmi bin Mazukifli, and I am from Marang, Terengganu. I recently completed my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Prior to this, I completed my foundation in Engineering at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in 2020, achieving a CGPA of 3.78.During my third year, I completed an internship at Aims Global Engineering, where I worked as a technical shipping assistant in the engineering department. Throughout my internship, I assisted engineers in monitoring the work progress of AV Al-Nisa 1.During my studies, I have developed proficiency in various software such as SolidWorks, C++, Arduino, ANSYS Fluent, Matlab, and many more. I also have a strong foundation in engineering, with a focus on theoretical aspects of mechanical engineering during my time at UTM.

  During my internship at AIMS Global Engineering Sdn. Bhd., I had the opportunity to work under the Technical Shipping Department. AIMS Global Engineering Sdn. Bhd. provides a wide range of services, including ship ownership, ship repair and building, and port and agency management. I was tasked with assisting engineers in reporting progress for AV AL-NISA 1, Malaysia's first modern fishing vessel undergoing machinery installation. Additionally, I was responsible for documenting the progress of Aishah Aims 2, which was under dry docking at Pulau Duyong.In my role during the internship, I coordinated with technicians to monitor the progress of AV AL-NISA 1 and assisted engineers in developing its operation manual. I worked closely with engineers to conduct machinery testing on the vessel and aided technicians in communicating progress updates to the yard. I provided monthly progress reports to ensure the readiness of AV AL-NISA 1 for operation. I learned about the docking process for vessels, including sea trials, main engine, and genset testing, and assisted the crew in installing spray booms. Furthermore, I visited the Pulau Duyong Supply Centre (PDSC) to inspect and monitor the installation process for machinery on AV AL-NISA 1, such as the main crane and purse winch.
