CurrentStrategy and Planning• Ensure that Service and contract billing applications meet corporate objectives, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve business requirements issues.• Gather, analyze, and define end-user requirements for Service data access and usability in accordance with business objectives.• Assist in the creation of long-term strategic goals for achieving and maintaining high data quality in conjunction with the users, department managers, clients, and other key stakeholders.• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated plans for the service management software administration and appropriate use.Acquisition and Deployment• Evaluate, configure, and deploy applications, systems software, and associated products throughout the enterprise.• Ensure that any new software integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.• Liaise with Systems Integration/Software Vendor for prompt rectification of any problems or emergencies.• Conduct research on new and emerging Service Management technologies within the market and roadmap of the incumbent vendorsOperational Management• Establish service-level agreements with the service users• Benchmark Service Management initiatives against best practices to ensure optimal performance.• Formulate and conduct training sessions and teaching materials for propagating Service Management knowledge throughout the organization.• Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements, patches, upgrades, and/or purchases.
