Following two successful bushfire recovery projects with Central Gippsland Institute of TAFE, Ami worked as a Business Consultant, managing the Commercial programs within the Community Department, more specifically the Koorie Unit and the GETT Centre, which assisted people with disabilities, those with indigenous backgrounds and at risk youth. She coordinated and wrote large scale tenders, managed and coordinated innovative government programs, managed core client relationships and internal and external stakeholders.Her achievements included writing and coordinating a multi million dollar tender and attracting over a dozen new programs for the organisation.
Ami managed a 12 month program for the Bushfire affected community in Gippsland to implement training and skills development plans for individuals, community groups and organisations. Ami coached and consulted with over 200 people during this time, helping them build personal capacity through skill development, training and career development.She also coordinated training programs customised for the community needs, and reported back to the government on the progress of the community, using community engagement strategies to gather data.
Ami coordinated the training, skills development and capacity building of the Gippsland fire affected community as part of an esteemed multi million dollar government program, the Latrobe Bushfire Recovery Project, which was the largest of it's kind and was commended by the Prime Minister at the time, Julia Gillard.

Positive Leadership designed and delivered leadership development tools and programs to high level executive teams, specialising in women's leadership.In conjunction with Martin Seligman and Chris Peterson and their team, Positive Leadership developed a coaching tool for the VIA Signature Strengths, which were distributed globally. Among their consulting work in Australia, Positive Leadership also brought Tal Ben Shahar to Australia to speak at their events, and partnered with Case Western University to deliver the Certificate in Appreciative Inquiry to Australia.
