I am a graduate student at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign pursuing an MS with thesis in Computer Science and conducting research in Natural Language Processing. I did my undergraduate studies from University of Utah with a BS in Computer Science.Currently I am conducting research on the topic of collaborative dialogue in Minecraft under Professor Julia Hockenmaier. I am working on creating an interactive Architect-Builder model where the Architect is able to perceive a target structure and produce nuanced instructions in the form of natural language utterances for the builder to understand. My focus is on improving the architect's understanding of the world state to incorporate additional information and hence improve utterances.For my professional experience, I have done two internships at Amazon Sciences working in the Devices Organization where I leveraged data and built custom ML models to improve customer experiences while purchasing Amazon devices and accessories. Prior to pursuing my Masters I worked as a Software Engineer at The Boeing Company on F-15 Mission Systems and other proprietary efforts.I am passionate about AI and Machine Learning and truly believe it will lead to advancement of mankind. I also love to keep myself updated on the latest research and developments in the field.
