Once we had sufficient data we initiated a project which involved all stakeholders: Sales team, Operations, Pricing Specialists, Quality team, Process Consultants and we redesigned a new process .This yielded good results which improved the time from 48days to 26 days in the pilot phase. Some more automations and process changes were put in place and the target of 10 days was achieved.
