Application: Inkasso- Z (Collection System) Environment: COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, SAS and MVS; InKasso-Z is one of the critical Application In Zurich Germany as its major business deals with collection of Premium, sending Invoices and Reminders for the upcoming Renewal premium, calculation of commissions for Agent and direct debit/credit from Deutschland Bank dealing with SAP. Technical Management Worked as Onsite Coordinator with German team and offshore on technical issues to deliver multiple projects and tasks for a period of 6 months.Acted as offshore Team Lead for projects and tasks.Gathered application knowledge and worked on to be an Application Certified SME from Client's end.Providing technical support and mentoring to Mainframe resources in team.Leading high-level Design for Code modules of application and working as lead developerTraining Conducted for resources to impart Business Knowledge for Life Insurance Domain.

Client: MetLifeEnvironment: COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, PL1 and MVS; IDG project is about eliminating the current print technology (such as Calligo, EFS and Stream weaver) used by MetLife for ULS, LCFS and MIDAS system to a new Print Technology using a tool Docucreate. This project required thorough analysis of the system and the programs and JCL's getting impacted for the new requirement.I was also nominated to come up with BCP (business Continuation plan) in case of any natural disaster for IDG Project. Maintenance activities included program analysis, enhancements, bug fixes, minor/major enhancements and Production Support.Docucreate is an Open system tool which is now widely used for printing technology in Mainframes also.Responsibility: As a Team Member, worked in analysis of Print Media, Program and impact Analysis of JCLs. Imparted Training to new joiners in the project.

Analysis, Coding, Testing

Client: MetLifeMetLife decided to join hands with Cognizant for the Application Maintenance of the General American Life Consolidated Function System (LCFS) and ULS (Universal Life System). LCFS and ULS support Traditional and Non-Traditional Line of Insurance business respectively. As part of taking over the maintenance activities, a distinct knowledge transfer phase was also included. Maintenance activities included enhancements, bug fixes, minor/major enhancements and Production Support.

Team member in ULS Module for 6 months, worked on Production Abends, maintenance (Change request), Coding and fixing production problems. Also Worked on CICS online system in debugging problems and providing solutions with the policy issued in production on the client side. Client: MetLifeEnvironment: COBOL, IMS/DB-DC, JCL, VSAM, DB2, and MVSRole: Team MemberApplication: LCFS; Team member in LCFS Module for 4 months, worked on Standardization which included migration of whole MetLife system from one mainframe to another Mainframe. Also, worked as providing Production support in LCFS. This project was all about fixing bugs and the providing the same results on the new METNET system which load libraries on GENAM and METNET.
