Equity Derivatives Middle OfficePerform reconciliation between Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office systems to ensure data capture accuracy and completeness across (Asia,EMEA and NY).Performing end to end trade reconciliation across multiple platforms, trade management and various accounting controls(T & T+1) & play a key role in ensuring the Front office P&L is in line with the back office P&L.Reconcile and Resolve Fails & Exceptions ( Trade & Settlement Breaks)Generate efficiencies by reviewing existing processes and find ways to automate and ensure adequate controls are in place.Product Coverage: Securities, Bonds, Convertible Bonds, Interest Rate Swap, Options Futures, Forwards, Variance Swaps, CDS, Structured Derivatives.Overseeing the data gathering process, analyse the data & report MIS utilizing the various data source.Produce time sensitive daily reports with actionable data to Front Office, Middle Office, or Back Office for break resolutions.Handle adhoc projects for the team.

Portfolio Accounting ImplementationI was responsible for upkeep & enhancement of this new product & expand scope of this platform to on board more business procedures.• Undertook Requirement Analysis to Actual Testing & Implementation.• Involved co-ordination with TCS & IT members.• Scope of worked involved working on various financial products such as Equities, Swaps, Forwards, Options, Swaps CDS.• This product is aimed at creating a platform for Daily NAV Status reports & Investor Allocation Statements.• Reconciliation of historical conversion and parallel processing between the legacy and new accounting platforms• Testing of the new platform through comparison with the legacy platform• Liaise with client coverage and technology teams globally• Set up accounts using the Portfolio Administration Tool.

Investment Accounting Balancing the books of accounts by identifying, investigating, and resolving differences between the various parties involved to perform reconciliations.• Reconciling the GLCK’s to ensuring that the source documents match the balances shown in each account.• Preparing the market values report of securities between the Fund Accountant data (PAM data) and the Investment Manager (IM) File).• Apart from the above mention monthly activities also handling other quarterly activities i.e. Schedule D Reconciliation, Income analysis, Income Earned, reports.• Suggested process initiatives and improvements to minimize errors and help to improve quality of the work.• Deal with ad hoc request from clients.
