This position performs complex accounting functions including fiscal interpretation and financial analysis requiring full professional competency.Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and to accurately prepare complex financial data and reports.

· Manages assigned contracts, grants and/or fiscal sponsor relationships which includes, preparing monthly financial statements and/or invoices with supporting documentation, comparing expenses to contracted budgeted amounts for accuracy and variances within contract terms, and answering inquiries made by contract/grant managers and other personnel. Prepares budgets and forecasts when requested.· Serves as advisor to program and project directors on financial matters related to assigned projects and programs.· Provides financial budgets and/or proposals that maximize cost recovery and effective program delivery.· Assists in managing and/or providing oversight for Foundation issued credit card program activities which includes receive and review Employee Credit Card Reports from each credit card holder and import credit card statement activity into accounting system.· Assists in maintaining assigned monthly allocations of various expenses, such as: phones, internet service, postage, etc. and includes periodic review of methodology and monthly journal entries.· Completes bank account reconciliations as assigned on a daily/monthly basis.· Completes balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations as assigned monthly.· Assists with the annual audit process.
