Currently working as Deputy General Manager & Head of Auto-PLI and FAME/EMPS Departments at International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) {A division of National Automotive Board (NAB)- Ministry of Heavy Industries, Govt. of India}.More than 22 years of Work Experience with India's pioneer Test Agency, ICAT including 3 years of experience with The Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), Pune.The experience includes handling both Certification of Safety Critical Components, Sub Assemblies & automobiles as per Central Motor Vehicles Rules (CMVR) as well as executing Developmental DV/PV Testing of automotive parts as per various OEMs standards/Manufacturers specifications. Headed various prominent Labs such as Components Test Lab, Passive Safety Lab, Tyre Test Lab, Materials Lab etc. PLI-Auto Certification including DVA evaluation of AAT Vehicles & Components under PLI-Auto Scheme of MHI, Govt. of India.Confidently handled the Test Rigs/SPMs design, development, setting up of new labs e.g. Tyre Test Lab, Wheel Rims Testing, Certification lab, Fatigue lab, Passive Safety lab etc.Expertise in Test Rigs design, BSR Testing of Instrument Panels & Seats, Vibration Testing, Crash Testing, Environmental Testing, Fatigue testing & analysis, optimum utilization of resources by using Simplex Method of Linear Programming, MATLAB (Simulink), Ansys (static, modal, fatigue analysis & modal acoustics), Project Management, NABL Audits, BIS Audits, IMS Audits etc.Handled Standards & Regulations Section (SRS).
