• Strategic Sourcing- apply a systematic and fact based approach for optimizing an organization's supply base and improving the overall value proposition.• Setting, review and monitoring the savings through negotiation, planning and alternate potential vendor development.• Plan & review of indigenous & alternate development of imported items through reverse engineering.• Prepare & send RFx documents based on technical input from users and procurement policies and procedures, get approvals on the same as per DoA and resolve vendor queries within specified timeframes.• Procurement of MRP and critical items.• AMC, Rate Contracts & Service Contracts finalization.• Identify opportunities to renegotiate contracts based on commodity price.• In case of expiry of rate contract, initiate action for renewal/new rate contract before the date of expiry.• Preparing NFA for award of the contract. • Reviewing the lead time and monitoring parameters PR- RFQ, PR-PO, closure of Contracts & PO.• Maintaining item availability in plant, so that work does not effect.• Internal cost estimation.• Preparation of technical and commercial compatibility of offer.• Managing the end to end process in procurement's.• To identify new vendors and develop alternatives to ensure flexibility.• Planning and budgeting of purchase.• Coordinating with Engineering, Quality Control/Quality assurance and vendors to resolve design clarification or problems and track best results to meet up the project delivery schedule with best quality products.• Post award activities like vendor document follow ups, vendor claims, change orders, expediting, Third Party Inspection, shipping co-ordination, material receipt and payment until close out of the order as per contractual terms.• Timely update on market dynamics and price for supporting sourcing department in its decision making.• To coordinate with Logistics team for custom clearance and logistics support
