As part of the J&A Asia team, I am involved in the business development and networking for the region. Also responsible for program management and implementation of the assignments and awards won by J&A.

REACH India project was a US $ 20 million USAID funded education project, with an aim to attract and retain disadvantaged children in educational program by strengthening the capacity of local NGOs to work in the primary education sector. The project complemented the Government of India's Universal Elementary Education program. REACH India provided grants and technical assistance to NGOs that provided educational services to at-risk children - who were either out of school or in danger of dropping out of school. I was the technical expert for monitoring & evaluation of the REACH India project. In my capacity as the Monitoring & Evaluation specialist, my responsibilities included:• Developing the Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP) for the overall implementation, monitoring and for evaluation of the REACH India (RI) project• Building organizational capacities of NGOs in the area of Monitoring and Evaluation. • Developing monitoring tools by working in close partnership with the NGO implementers. • Conducting Technical Assistance (TA) workshops thereby building capacities of grantee NGOs.• Reviewing project proposals. • Finalizing the M&E plans of each NGO finally selected for support by REACH India and recommending for approval.• Visiting NGOs grantees for monitoring their projects. • Conducting annual appraisal of NGOs work. • Reporting to USAID India on the project progress against the approved Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP), • Providing support to other technical experts of REACH India team (quality education, organization development, capacity building, communication & network and finance), • Hiring consultants, framing ToR for them and overseeing execution of the assignments;

HelpAge India is an associate of HelpAge International, London. HelpAge India is a premiere age care funding agency in India and provides financial assistance to NGOs for implementing various projects which bring about a positive impact in the lives of older people, especially older women and their families. My job responsibilities involved project development, interacting with international donor agencies, guiding and supervising the HelpAge India team of program advisers spread across the country, monitoring the ongoing projects, and preparing strategic action plan for directorate of programs.At HelpAge India, I worked for almost ten long years and during this period rose from the post of a Program Adviser to that of Regional Director and finally at the time of leaving the organization I held the post of Joint Director Programs.

I worked in the UNICEF assisted project titled, Area Intensive Education Project. The States of Uttar Pradesh, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Union Territory of Dadar and Nagar Haveli were covered through the program.Was part of the team for designing monitoring strategies and operational plans for the school education program implemented through the Multi Purpose Resource Centres created by the education department in the States.Organizing training for the Field Level Functionaries (FLF) thereby sensitizing them on the needs of children, reduction of drop out rate, utilization of innovative techniques of imparting education, etc. These trainings were especially found effective in the carpet weaving areas of Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh where a large number of children are employed in the carpet weaving industry. The FLFs of this area were able to increase the attendance of those children working in the carpet industry.
