It is one of the largest and most diversified manufactures of Castings likes Impeller, Francis Runner, Chock, Housing, Pelton Runner, Crown, Band, Wicket Gate, Propeller Blade, Runner Blade, Steam Turbine, Hydro Turbine for Hydro, Steam Power Plants, Cement, Coal Plants in various grades of Steel, Cast Iron, SG Iron etc likes Creep Resistant Steel, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Alloy Cast Iron etc. & supplies the goods to BHEL, BEML, Tata Steel, Siemens, L&T-MHI, Alstom, Tyco, Voith etc, Job Responsibilities:Direct reporting to Sr. Vice President.Prepare pattern & method plan for manufacturing of items immediately after receipt of Work Order.Timely organized meetings at plant head’s office for schedule.Prepare pouring plan and check feasibility by meeting with various departmental heads.Timely prepare billing & dispatch plan.Submit Rejection Report.Prepare Management Information System (MIS Report) regularly.Submit Work in Process (WIP Report) to account department.Maintain Delivery Index.Review order in hand.Sent Client wise Schedule of castings to concern customers.Arrange & provide machining sketch to machine shop.Filed Purchase Requisition (PR) for special goods which are use in casting manufacturing like pipes, paints, plates, welding lugs etcTo make arrangement for dispatch packaging.Control Liquidedge damageResolve shop’s issues with customers/contract persons.Regular follow-up of castings.Monthly production report to plant head (COO).Quarterly Plant report submits to MD through COO.Achievements:Reduce delivery index to 1.3 from 2.3.Reduce rejection ratio.
