With over 16 years of rich experience in Quality Management and Supplier Quality Assurance & Control, I am currently the QA Manager at Orient Electric, a leading consumer electrical company in India. I am responsible for overseeing the entire quality assurance and control functions in the company, ensuring the conformity of processes and products to the established standards, and managing the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes.As a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, I have expertise in applying the latest quality techniques, such as 7 QC Tools, APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, MSA, Quality Control Plans, 8D Analysis, and CAPA, to improve the performance and reliability of fan products. I also lead a team of quality engineers, inspectors, auditors, analysts, and technicians, and work with customers, employees, vendors, and outsourcing firms to develop product requirements. I handle customer complaints related to quality and visit abroad for complaint analysis. I am passionate about enhancing the process operations and quality level of suppliers, and conduct system and process audits, supplier improvement programs, supplier performance rating, and new part and sample inspection and approval.
