I am working in IHAT (India Health action Trust) under UP- TSU as Sr. Specialist FRU/RRTC and looking HPDs and Non HPDs in Uttar Pradesh along with engaging Medical collages (KGMU, Lucknow & IMS, BHU and GMC Azamgarh medical colleges )faculties under Regional Resource Centre (RRTC) .UP TSU has strategically planned to scale up the nurse mentoring programme in all the 294 blocks of HPDs, strengthening of First Referral Units (FRU) and engaging medical colleges as Regional Resource Training Centre (RRTC) for mentoring & regular supportive supervision of Medical Officers & Specialist posted at CHC FRU & District Women & Combined Hospital.

Bihar- India

•Coordinates with the Health Department and NRHM Program Management unit in the planning and management of New born and Child Health Services.•Responsible for preparation, implementation, monitoring and reviewing the NIPI facilitated New-born and Child Health intervention packages (including financial reports and utilization) viz. HBNC, HBNC+, SNCU and SNCU+.•Participates in meetings with District magistrate at District Level and Mission Director, Senior Health Officials, NRHM Program Managers , Partner representatives (and others as needed) at state level from time to time.•Responsible for programme/project review, and follows up on implementation of recommendations and agreements of the state coordination meetings for NIPI activities in the state. •Takes part in activities and meetings related to Maternal, new born and child health activities and coordinates with other development partners in the state.•Coordinates with RCH officer/ Training officer/ Program Coordinator to organize, strengthen and assure quality of trainings related to new born, child and maternal health with a specific focus on NIPI new born project facilitated interventions.•Identify capacity-building needs and undertakes capacity-building activities on New born and Child Health issues for field-level functionaries. •Undertakes field visits for quality implementation and monitoring of programmes aimed at increasing coverage of NIPI strategic interventions, as well as conducts periodic programme reviews with government counterparts and other partners.•Prepare monthly and other periodic reports, status reports as required by the NIPI new born project in a qualitative and timely manner.

 Support the facility intervention team at the block and PHC/CHC levels as per the RMNCHA intervention. Coordinate with the other TSU members at the district level; support the district CMO and other program officers for technical inputs in respect of maternal and child health. Support the community intervention team at the block and PHC/CHC levels; coordinate with the other TSU members at the district level; support the district CMO and other program officers Support the HMIS/MCTS/HRIS interventions and TSU MLE activities at the district level. Providing technical and managerial support to the block managers and other supportive staff in context of quality improvement initiative. Providing technical support to nursing mentors for their day to day activity at the all level of facility. Coordinate with DPO-ICDS, District Collector, CMO and also DPM-NRHM on an ongoing basis to ensure effective implementation of program components. Identify capacity building needs of the district team and plan for district team performance improvement and team building. Ensure the compliance of the program support polices and reporting requirements.

 Leadership and People Management:• To effectively line manage the team of direct reportee (Block MLE Coordinators) for ensuring efficiency and quality of the output• To effectively motivate team members for promoting their urge to constantly innovate new strategies and approaches for increasing efficiency of CML data collection. • Periodically reviews performance of each team members in terms of their efficiency, capability, eye-for-details, sincerity and integrity. And, to take action against non-compliance of any of the team members to basic minimum standard in any of these.  Operational Management:• To ensure maximum efficiency of data collection in the district by o Supporting each Block MLE Coordinator by providing personalized attention in their everyday operational plan, travel plan and logistic plan. o Smartly managing task allocation among Block MLE Coordinators in a way to minimize travel time, promote multi-tasking, encourage coordination, and, thereby, increase overall outputo Keeping strong monitoring on per day per person output • To ensure high-level of adherence to the data collection protocol• To ensure completion of agreed task of data collection within timeline Data Quality.• To maintain high quality of data by conducting back-checks (at least 5%) and spot-check of data• To review and edit all the data collected by all the members of her/his team• To identify training needs of each of the Block MLE Coordinator • To orient and hand-hold Block MLE Coordinators to increase their skill on a concurrent basis• To provide on-the-job training for newly joined Block MLE Coordinators Other Support:• To provide support in conducting cognitive testing of any new instrument• Primary data collection in case of urgency or requirement • Conducting interviews of data collectors and preparation of monthly reports to provide feedback to State MLE team on quality of data collection and for documentation of the CML data collection process
