• Coordination with Carrying & forwarding agents (CFA) for inventory management & logistics. Ensure availability of material with minimum inventory norms & regular training to CFA persons and strictly adherence to FIFO.• Conducting routine inspection & stock audits, stock verification and documentation to ensure reconciliation of physical stock at the warehouse• Managing warehouse operations ensuring optimum inventory levels to achieve maximum cost savings.• Ensuring good receipts and issue of materials as per requirement.• Manage stock control: the self-assured receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods, document recording and data entry into system.• Deals with Distributors/Dealers/SFs for any query.• Issue Inventory report, IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, goods age report, consumption report, manpower status report to ZCH.• Handle requests for purchases.• Handle questions and concerns about merchandise.• Development of vendors for local procurement & preparation of cost comparative rates.• Track purchases from order placement until it arrives in hands of order placer.• Keep track of inventory.• Ensure package arrives on time.• Verify package meets all specifications.• Notify appropriate department of the placement of orders.• Ensure inventory is stocked and purchase order can be fulfilled.• Compare prices and expected delivery dates proposed by suppliers.• Verify billed amount with goods received.• Handle invoices and forward to accounting department.• Coordinating with account team for making payment of vendors.• Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and effective warehouse administration.• To understand requirements, deploy formats, design formats.• Ensuring timely submission of Ad hoc reports.• Reconcile Data on monthly & yearly basis.• Maintain all Physical stock and reports in SAP (MM module).
