Yes, it's true that, by definition; Marketing refers to activities a company undertakes to promote the buying or selling of a product or service. Over the years, I've learned that Marketing is more than that; marketing is a skill that very few people understand the fundamentals of; it is more than a skill. It's a lifestyle(if I may). It is a way of life where you see the problem and tackle it with utmost urgency without messing up your responsibilities. There are four types of market structure, perfect competition, monopolistic competition, oligopoly, and monopoly(if you know, you know!). Understating these structures and utilizing that understanding to keep your brand/company going is an art. Therefore, every marketeer is an artist running a brand.
