Amit's research have mainly focussed on quantum information theory and its interface with many-body systems, open quantum systems, and thermodynamics. He works as an Associate Professor of Physics at the Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad, where he teaches undergraduate as well as post-graduate Physics courses, and carries on his research in Quantum Physics.
