•Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials and equipment in a timely and cost effective way,timely manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specification.• Follow up/ receiving quotations and making price comparisons.• Follow-up and expedite the delivery.• Send out RFQ as per procurement schedule.• Understand operations and develop strategies to reduce total costs.• Conduct vendor evaluation and vendor ratings.•Generate purchase orders per requirement, place and confirm order with supplier, monitering until delivery completion.•Coordination with Quality/Production departments with respect to quality of incoming material of new supplierstill stabilisation phase.• Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress- checking the quality of service provided.• Price evaluation , cost development, value analysis & negotiations for new suppliers.• Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.

1.Participate in 400 kV substation day to day Operation and Maintenance activities like testing of 400/220 kV Auto transformer, Circuit Breaker, Current Transformer, etc.2.Participating in relay testing, PLCC testing, and Energy Meter data collection.3. Assist in Control Room operation duty.4. Participated in Battery discharge testing and auxiliary system maintenance.5. Supervision/Participation in Fire Fighting system of substation
