I have worked on the numerical simulation and microstructural characterization of the Laser Directed Energy Deposition (L-DED) of Al-0.5Sc-0.5Si alloy. The research work focuses on the computation of temperature and velocity distribution, including the prediction of solidification morphology for the varying process parameters.
