Responsible for freight operations and marketing over six Divisions of Western Railway.Freight loading increased from MT in 2003 to MT in 2007.Western Railway won Ministry of Railway’s Operations Efficiency Shield for the first time in its history for the year 2004.During this period originating freight loading increased from 26.08MT in the year 2003-04 to 42.22MT in the year 2006-07 and originating earnings increased from Rs. 17.18 Billions to Rs. 32.67 Billions.

Passenger Marketing)During the short tenure, in coordination with six Divisions of Western Railway identified the deficiencies in passenger amenities and rationalized the system of planning for efficient budget allocation for passenger amenities works

Led a team of eight Commercial Officers responsible for all commercial matters related to Coaching, Goods & Parcel, Catering, Passenger Reservation System, Commercial Advertising, and Ticket Checking. Analyzed and rationalized the ticket sale system in Mumbai suburban to reduce Q length and improve sales and initiated the project for introduction of ATVMs.Initiated and implemented the project for installation of 33 Bank ATMs at suburban stations for the convenience of commuters.Rationalized the system of long distance passenger trains bed linen washing utilizing the services of best Launderers in Mumbai to enhance customer satisfaction
