As a part of DevOps Enterprise Release Management team, My primary responsibilities include designing the process to move the application code from source control(Gitlab) to a production system and manage the deployment tools (Nolio, Serena, Electric Cloud etc.) along the way. We have developed a tool call Unified Deployment Tool which caters to application team's deployment needs in the lower environment ( Integration Environment) across the organization to move their code faster without much governance. The tool is developed with Spring, Hibernate and Freemarker UI framework. The application communicates with repositories like StarTeam & Artifactory to extract the versions.We use Nolio deployment engine to do an actual deployment for a lot of different technologies spanning Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss, MSSQL, Oracle, Datastage, Mule etc. We use Serena & UDS as a front end to Nolio. Both this tools are responsible for triggering the deployment in nolio and managing the governing process around the deployment in different SDLC environments.We are also started exploring container-based technologies like docker, openshift, AWS etc and we are in process of designing the deployment strategies for these container-based systems.

I worked as a consultant to the CitiBank during my tenure at L&T InfotechGlobal Fund Accounting and Reporting is a reporting application for the fund managers to provide them a performance matrix of the funds managed by them in the stock market around the globe. This project facilitates user to configure and run their accounting reports and take a decision about their investments based on the reports.It is an information delivery tool that provides robust reporting capabilities. The application is optimized to meet the needs of fund accountants. It providing on-demand access of the report, downloading capabilities and the ability to schedule the individual or bunch of reports in packages. The reports can be delivered through FTP or secure email. Another feature that allows clients to create reports which can be transmitted in file formats (XML, CSV, XLs) which intern consumed by other systems to generate reports.My responsibility at L&T Infotech includes Design Solution, Writing the code with Java frameworks Spring & Hibernate, Help support team to investigate any user reporting issues.

Unlike the other accounting solution, this application consists of very unique and advanced set of features like customer/supplier record book, advanced inventory management, online invoicing & payment system, bank statement reconciliation and online VAT return filling.My responsibility includes designing the solution, involve in development and help the testing team design the test cases. We used Struts & Hibernate framework to develop the application.
