I am an advanced endoscopist who has received training at leading academic centers across the East Coast. My clinical interests are obesity medicine, bariatric endoscopy, pancreaticobiliary disease, and other complex endoscopic procedures including third space endoscopy (Per-oral endoscopic myotomy) and advanced endoscopic resection (endoscopic mucosal resection and endoscopic submucosal dissection). I am also Board Certified in Obesity Medicine—making me one of the few gastroenterologists formally trained to manage obesity and the associated metabolic complications with nutrition counseling, medications, and primary and revisional bariatric endoscopy procedures. I currently serve as the Director of Bariatric Endoscopy at Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group. I am passionate about helping patients achieve weight loss and improve their metabolic health through a comprehensive approach that includes nutrition, lifestyle modifications, medications, and endoscopy.
