Responsible for Global Consolidation of P/L numbers and MIS reporting to the executive committee in The Netherlands. Global Coordinator for mapping Hyperion products to Khalix (RBS accounting system) with special focus on Structural hierarchies and product mappings. Migrated the process from Holland Head office and have been the sole owner of the process on the global level from the ABN side. Was in Amsterdam; for Migration. Impact of the job is at a level where no p/l reporting can happen in absence of the mapping table released as a end result of this process. The job entailed problem resolution on a day to day basis and guidance to global users regarding the system structures and hierarchies for reporting purposes. Have won huge appreciation from all concerned parties for aligning the ABN/RBS Structures based on various business requirements after the Strategic review.

Handling a team of 3 people for Finance Shared Services (FSS) Asia Pacific for Account payable functions. Responsible for laying down the workflow and the control activities for day to day operations. Looking after all Procure to Payment activities and having control on daily activities of all team. Reporting to onshore manager on weekly basis and offshore head on monthly basis for team output. Controlling workflow in SAP and Vineyard (connected system) Authorizing entries related to Month end activity and Fixed assets. Interacting with internal customer of ABN Amro Singapore and Hong Kong for business solutions. Was in Hong Kong for accounting business Process Review from 25th of July till 18th of August 2004. Reviewed the process for current Hong Kong finance Operations, within the Scope of the Accounts Payable function. Was in Hong Kong Once again for a period of 3 months

Responsible for accounting of US Companies.Reporting of all accrual reports, aged creditors, and legal fees. responsible for Booking & payment of all Payables for US Companies.

Monitoring Expenses creditor Accounts,releasing payments to such creditors as and when they are due, booking of all basic entries into the system. Ledger scrutiny, Reconciliation of Major Bank A/c's, Inter-Company Reconciliation, Expenses Provisioning & budgeting for a short term. Preparation of the daily fund requirement statement for movement of funds from and to various accounts for trading purposes, making trade related payments, booking of trade entries, Handling of bulk cash during high amount disbursements follow up with concerned parties regarding receipt of payments in foreign currency, booking foreign exchange receipts / payments entries in system, Foreign Exchange reconciliation for traveling staff, Staff advances accounts monitoring & booking, Variance analysis of expenses on monthly basis.

The job mainly consisted of preparing the daily statement of affairs of the bank [the daily balance sheet], watching out for any significant changes in the day-to-day balance sheet, and other related work that the superior(s) may ask to do.
