Description of Work:• Provide project timeframe estimate for all CAD models and Drawings contributed by India Design team.• Modelling, Quality checks for Drawings, Assembling and BOM’s for electromechanical products such asCommercial Satellite Multiplexers, RF Filters, Assembly panels and Circulators used as a payload on satellites.• Cabling and harnessing of large assemblies such as Input Multiplexers & Output Multiplexers.• Understanding customer requirements and define required product using current DFM capabilities of facilityfor Manufacturing.• Interact and follow up with the RF/Mechanical and Project Engineers for design related issues and queries.• Worked with supplier Transition team for Engineering Part Assessment of supplier reposition project.• Using PLM tool (Windchill) and Teamcenter to promotions, change requests and ensure Product after design is progressed towards manufacturing.Contribution• Providing project deadlines for the completion of design phase.• Provide effort estimate to customer for Projects.• Managed and executed all phases of the design process for a multitude of products, components, parts,assemblies, and subassemblies, including drafting, dimensioning and tolerance using Creo.• Quality Check: Ensure all the process are being followed by the team & check final drawing before delivery for manufacturing.• All Models created are parametric and follow Design for Manufacturability (DFM).• DFM is defined by usage of Machining drills (CNC machining and EDM) and plating process to prepare the final finished product Model.• Defining and establishing GD&T for all part Models Created and representing them in the drawing using legacyor heritage products.• Creating assembly Models and drawings for assembly.• Creation of part number and Assembly number to add and create Bill of materials.• Setup Design reviews with offshore team.• Ensure design is Released in PLM tool and progressed to Manufacturing
