Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) is a nonprofit organization that delivers a customized, objectives-based mentorship program for massively scalable, seed-stage, science and technology-based companies. To date, the more than 4,000 founders representing over 1,700 companies that have graduated from CDL have exceeded $12B in equity value created. Since CDL-Rockies launched in 2017, graduates of the program have raised over $240M in capital, resulting in $1.3B+ in equity value creation.⦁ Managed a portfolio of 12 sector-agnostic ventures through the program spanning industries such as proptech, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, SaaS, cybersecurity and more

Created an importing business involving over a dozen SKUs sold in the United States and Canada. Gained experience in negotiating with manufacturers, creating purchase agreements and international supply chain management.

I provided quality dental services in a variety of suburban and rural locations across Alberta, including Timberlea Services Centre, a non-hospital surgical facility specializing in pediatric dentistry, and Langdon Dental Clinic. I oversaw dental care, managerial, and administrative responsibilities in the owner’s absence, including leading all aspects of clinic operations, staff management, and patient relations. Key Responsibilities:⦁ Perform specialized pediatric dental care in combination with sedation, ranging from nitrous oxide to general anesthesia.⦁ Build strong and trustworthy relationships with new patients and clinic staff to rapidly gain trust and perform complex dental procedures in a new clinic environment.

I co-owned and operated a dental clinic, which included leading a comprehensive initiative to modernize outdated equipment, software and hardware systems, administrative procedures, and marketing programs. I provided a wide range of general dental procedures, such as crowns, bridges, extractions, and molar endodontics.Key Responsibilities:⦁ Oversaw all aspects of team leadership and staff management, including resolving a wide range of Human Resources issues such as hiring, training, team building, conflict resolution, performance management, and terminations.⦁ Led the implementation of new administrative procedures, including deploying efficient new software systems, creating paperless processes, and training clinic staff to follow new practices.⦁ Introduced new dental technology and systems to improve the patient experience, including digital x-rays, periodontal lasers, and intraoral cameras.⦁ Launched a new marketing campaign, which included website creation, online marketing, advertising, and participation in community programs to build awareness, increase patient volumes, and improve revenues.

I delivered quality dental care in a large and fast-paced clinic of 10 dentists, including establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clinic staff and patients. I developed strong dental knowledge and skills through mentoring and support from a collaborative team of dentists.Key Responsibilities:⦁ Created extensive dental treatment plans for patients, including preventative services, minor and major restorations, crowns, bridges, and endodontics.⦁ Mentored new dental graduates and dental assistants to encourage skills development and career growth.

I was deployed to Operation Peregrine (2003) as a Medic in response to BC forest fires, which included operating emergency vehicles and conducting medical pre-screenings for physicians. I received comprehensive emergency medical training, including Basic Trauma Life Support, Nursing Skills, and Air Evacuation Procedures, and attained the Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) qualification.
