Credit Controller
Current• Credit Risk Management: Monitor and assess credit risks by evaluating the creditworthiness of customers and recommending appropriate credit limits.• Debt Collection: Oversee and implement effective debt collection strategies to minimize outstanding debts and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO).• Customer Account Reconciliation: Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of customer accounts, investigating discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.• Credit Approval Process: Assist in approving or rejecting credit applications based on the company’s credit policies and financial risk assessments.• Aging Report Management: Regularly review aging reports and follow up with customers on overdue accounts to ensure timely payments.• Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with customers while enforcing credit policies, ensuring a balance between customer satisfaction and the company’s financial interests.• Reporting: Prepare and present regular credit control and collection reports to senior management, including bad debt provisions and risk exposure.• Compliance: Ensure all credit control procedures adhere to company policies and relevant legal regulations.• Team Coordination: Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve payment issues, negotiate payment terms, and improve cash flow.• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve credit control processes, reduce bad debt, and enhance overall financial efficiency. • Dispute Resolution: Work closely with clients to resolve invoice disputes and payment issues in a timely and diplomatic manner.
