Managerial/Team Lead Duties: • 4/5 FTE Reports during management of each team• Ensure teams submission of Tax Reclaims for our clients prior to the agreed SLA’s• Manage the teams output and ensure all processes and tasks are completed in line with KPI’s• Management and control of Quarterly HMRC CT61 tax submission• Creation of objectives for team members, (SMART)• Development and management of Metrics, (MI) associated with Volumes, Capacity Models, PRB packs while providing accurate explanations to management for any inconsistencies. This also includes daily and weekly MI for senior management• Consistently providing Training, Support and Direction to my team• Help develop and maintain good relations with clients and internal stake holders• Involvement in the transitioning of new work into and out of Tax Operations Birmingham• Attendance of Associate forums, across Asset Services, and the larger client services group• Actively involved in FTE redeployment meetings with Senior Management, ensuring the staff are used most efficiently across teams. Discussion of individual performances as part of the 12-box grid meetings with the full management group• Constantly involved in the streamlining of processes, (and general process improvements)• 4-eyeing of all of my teams’ output and mitigating risk in general• Providing escalation and assistance to team members to ensure a timely resolution to ad-hoc, and BAU queries• Escalation of risky issues to senior management in a timely manner• Organisation of regular meetings with AVP and direct reports Ad Hoc Support Duties: • Providing high calibre support for other areas of Tax Operations, including signing of documentation, and providing technical support for when team leads are out of the office.• Providing coverage for AVP during his time out of the office and being a point of contact for our internal and external stake holders.

• Processing of tax reclaims across various markets prior to market deadlines• Month End Account substantiation, across various accounts and ledgers• Processing of UK REITs, and CT61 submissions to the HMRC• Collection and storage of MOD2 declarations• Collection of Relief at Source documentation• Daily calculation of SX1 charges to the desk, with explanation of high value primary charges and reverse charges• Processing of per event certifications, including type 30/31 Euro-clear certifications, and quick Spanish reclaims• Nostro management

Duties included: General problem solving to facilitate identification of root causes and resolution. Reconciliation and investigation of trades, dividends and foreign exchange trades booked and settled through OMX securities.
