In general I am responsible for all commercial activities on these schemes along with managing a team of 5 Quantity Surveyors. Quantification and costing: liaison with designers and engineers to prepare pricing documents to get project estimates to a final outturn costs. Subcontract procurement and tendering: using tender analysis, whole life costing and supply chain management and procurement schedules. Contract Administration: dealing with insurances, materials off-site and bonds. In particular a Subcontract with a Dutch company that includes two payment bonds and a performance bond. Project financial control and reporting: cost reporting, risk management, budgets, earned value analysis, labour plant and material schedules, construction management costs, monthly/project movement schedules, Risk & Opportunity timelines and spend profiles.
